Congrats to Coffee Oasis for their new location in Pierce county. After a lot of hard work they have a new area to serve and will do great things there :)

We have an incredible, growing community and my goal with this new category of posts is to encourage an incremental increase in the types and frequency of outreach. I’d like to harness the power of our numbers by posting an “assignment” once per month. I invite everybody who reads this to share it around, try to complete the assignment, and, if called to do so, write about your experience in the comments section.

We are always on the lookout for new and effective ways to raise funds to support Northwest Hospitality’s mission, so this Spring we tried out something new: a Value Village FUNDrive. We collected 871 pounds of donations, earning $175.89, thank you all for your donations and support!

We rely on places like Notre Dame for so much of the context of our lives and what the people before us experienced, but why doesn’t the homelessness crisis elicit passions and actions equal to or greater than the tragic destruction of a beloved landmark?
