Why all the trash & why do we pick it up?

Environmental Hospitality (EH) is one of Northwest Hospitality’s most successful and appreciated programs. In 2019, we coordinated over 100 volunteers and picked up over 23,000 pounds of litter. In 2020, interest hasn’t waned even in the face of COVID-19 but we’re only at 2,000 lbs this year thanks to the decrease in events.

Each year, during our fundraising benefit, we invite local musicians to perform and this year is no different! We will have Nick Droz and The Sky Colony Duo joining us this time around and we couldn’t be more excited! Each group has their own mellow, acoustic sound with hints of rock, psychedelic, and pop in the mix.

No more barriers to shelter & housing programs

As a society, we could choose to provide the resources to get people sheltered. Instead, it has been our choice to treat a lifetime of mistakes, or just one big one, as a life sentence to misery and isolation. We should not be placing additional burdens between people and a safe place to call home while they work out their issues.
