Towable Shelters

Secure, warm shelters save lives and create opportunities

Housing for all is the goal but towable shelters like these can be a transitional tool while people find other opportunities. Bicycles and the building materials used in these plans are relatively accessible to all and, with a little elbow grease, can be turned into a useful shelter.

With your help, we will get these out to people who will benefit greatly from the many benefits they offer:

  • Mobile

  • Insulated (more than a tent anyway)

  • Secured (more than a tent anyway)

  • Outfitted with a few basic comforts

Our volunteer builders will be loosely following the plans put together by Paul Elkins (THANKS Paul!)
