Anton is NWH's Founding Director and current Board Chairperson. He spent years looking for ways to maximize the impact he could have on the people living in the streets of Seattle and NWH is the result of that search.

Anton is also a stay-at-home dad for two amazing boys, a volunteer editing microloan proposals for KIVA, and a freelance writer/editor with a children's book, Shaky, published in 2017.

Maggie is a scientist. She has spent the last 20+ years working in research, from ecology to immunology to virology to genetic disease and therapeutics. She is passionate about women in STEM, sustainability, subverting capitalism, and contributing to her community. Her hobbies include backpacking, gardening, sewing, video games, and macaroni & cheese.

Molly Strand became involved with Northwest Hospitality by participating in their recent outreach and cleanup efforts at Veterans Memorial Park. She is an elementary school teacher with a myriad of hobbies such as running, reading, gardening, making art for fun, camping, and paddleboarding.

I was approached by Anton with the opportunity to be the treasurer of Northwest Hospitality and after speaking with Anton, who showed a true desire to make an impact on his community, I couldn’t pass a chance to be part of the team. 

I work full-time as an EMT, am father to a wonderful daughter, and am always trying to get outdoors to hike, climb, or snowboard

Galena White is formerly houseless and has been working toward social justice for thirteen years. They are an activist and community organizer, mother, not-for-profit artist, autistic, wife, bi, non-cis, fat, person with white privilege, survivor, mentally and physically disabled, and a person with extraordinary perspicacity yet very poor memory. Their greatest achievement was being the founding member of Delridge Grocery Cooperative. Hobbies are D&D, video games, singing, camping, swimming, fighting the kyriarchy, and petitioning the government to end homelessness.

Ron is a long-time charity organization volunteer and donor to charitable and church organizations throughout his 80+ years of life. He joins the Board to continue this passion during retirement and help the less fortunate.

Ron capped off his lifelong career in construction by closing his construction management business which assisted small business contractors pursuing military construction contracts. That career ranged through mechanical trades worker and supervisor, Navy civil service in facility management and contracting, general construction management to his consultant practice.

Concurrently he served 33 years in the Navy Seabee Reserve Program from enlisting, culminating in his Chief Warrant Officer retirement.

My name is Geoff(Jeff) and I've been volunteering for the Severe Weather Shelter since I came back to Western Washington 8 years ago. I spent lots of time with the homeless while traveling across country on a Spiritual Journey back in 2012, and am super Grateful to be able to give back any way I can.
