Anton is NWH's Founding Director and current Board Chairperson. He spent years looking for ways to maximize the impact he could have on the people living in the streets of Seattle and NWH is the result of that search.
Anton is also a stay-at-home dad for two amazing boys, a part-time EMT, a volunteer editing microloan proposals for KIVA, and a freelance writer/editor with a children's book, Shaky, published in 2017.
Khoi is a member on the Board of Directors. When he learned about NWH and the service it provides, he wanted to be part of it. Not long before he learned about NWH, he encountered a man named James as he was waiting in the lobby of a hospital. James came and sat on a chair nearby to get some rest as Khoi was feeding his baby. After learning James was living on the street, Khoi asked what was the most difficult thing for James. “Not having water and showers,” James said. Khoi is grateful for the resources NWH provides for those in need as well as opportunities for corporal works of mercy.
Khoi and his wife, Thuong, recently had their first child. Their baby is truly a miracle. Taking care of a baby has taught Khoi a few things about serving others: sometimes he has to lose some sleep; sometimes he has to let go of a piece of himself; and baby just needs the basics.
